Have had a pace maker for almost a year have been smoking pot again recently. I also have been having HB 150 per min and low BP could this be cause
What would cause a very fast heart rate when standing or walking even at a slow pace? It doesn't happen every day but when it does my pulse is 120+

Blood pressure-pacer: You mean BP (blood pressure) 147/72? This is is slightly above normal range, and it may just be that it is measured in doctor's office--usually lower at home. I would just recheck to see--if persistently above 140s, consult doc for treatment. Pace-maker may not have anything to do with the bp. Often the pacer is silent until rate too low, then it kicks in to trigger the heart to beat. Good luck. ...Read more
Sensibly: To lose weight insure that calories burned exceed calories consumed. Drink at least 8 - 8 ounce glasses of water per day. Aim for at least 5 servings of vegetables and 4 servings of fruit per day. Use whole grain when possible. Avoid sodas, alcohol & junk carbohydrates. Possible ADHD: Congratulations on taking your studies seriously; if distraction is of recent origin, i would journal what you are thinking ; keep a log of the topics; if the distractions continue over time, i would consider a professional consult with a therapist to rule in/out adhd; the DX of adhd does not automatically mean that medication will be recommended; cbt may be a good choice. ...Read more
