Foot Pain: Typically with foot pain developing you try to analyze the cause. What did I do to get my foot irritated? Then, you try to create a pain free environment to allow healing as much as possible (change shoes, etc). Wacked nerve....: The buzzing feeling you're having is the result of trauma to a moderate sized nerve on the medial side of the foot. With no bruising or swelling, I would nod not suspect a fracture but a compression nerve injury is certainly likely.
