What Causes Occasional Body Shaking
I feel like my whole body is shaking like I am in an earthquake but am not moving. It feels like a tremor on the inside. What can cause this?
Variable: There are many causes but a very common cause of the symptoms you describe are anxiety and panic disorder or mediation/drug/alcohol effect. It would be important to learn of other symptoms, if any, as well as any medications you are taking. Please speak with your physician or make a virtual appointment with me for further guidance.
No healthy problems. A 4 years old boy sleeping woke up but no interaction, half body shaking all necessary exams normal, 1year ago. Causes precaution?,
Shaking: His shaking could have been due to a bad dream or a slight fever. As long as everything was normal, I wouldn't worry.
Severe body shaking, hallucinating flashing lights, slight disoriented, headache, tired, paranoid, scared, extra carious when moving. Possible cause?
I HAVE UNPLEASANT MORNINGS DUE TO WAKING UP AND FEELING MY BED SHAKING, ROOM SHAKING, OR BODY SHAKING.?
Anxiety reaction: This sounds like anxiety and/or panic attacks and should be discussed with your physician who may refer you for stress management therapy. Mild tranquilizers maybe prescribed. In the meantime avoid alcohol, caffeine and nicotine. If true shakiness persists throughout the day, your thyroid status, blood sugar and vital signs will also be checked
Three days ago, I woke up with my body shaking. I thought it would've went away by now but it hasn't. What could this be? I'm freaking myself out.
Body shaking: Any other symptoms like fever, dizziness, hunger, loss of bowel/bladder control? Do u take any meds or supplements or use any party drugs? Low blood sugar might cause shaking but should resolve with eating. New onset of type 1 diabetes might be possible. Best u see fp soon for thorough work-up for diabetes, thyroid ds, infection, urinary tract infection involving kidneys, toxic shock, etc.See 1 more doctor answer

I got done eating dinner a hour ago at 9:00pm 3 minutes before the sun set at 9:03pm in New Lebanon, Ohio. Why was my body shaking all of sudden?
Shaking: The timing of your eating is probably unrelated to the time of day. Shaking can be caused by low blood sugar, not likely after a meal. Perhaps you were anxious or cold.
This past week I have been upset at least once each day, and whole body shaking at my breaking point. I'm under a lot of stress. Can this be dangerous?
Shaking episodes: It sounds like you are having anxious episodes (anxiety), these are worry episodes of unresolved feelings you are having. Many people have these and are self limited most of the time. Try to think of the causes and try to solve the problems rather than suppressing your feelings. When you least expect, your feelings return causing the symptons you are having. If this becomes a problem see your doc.See 2 more doctor answers

Went in for appendectomy a few weeks ago. Woke up from anaesthesia with whole body shaking and no control over muscles. What could it have been?
Post-op shivering: Shivering causes after anesthesia include: room temperature fluids given via ivs tend to cool your body. Anesthetics affect your central temperature control, making it more like the ambient temperature, thus when you recover, your body rewarms by shivering. Or temp. Is usually cooler, also contributing to the overall cooling effect. So when you arrive in recovery shivering can occur.See 3 more doctor answers

Possible seizure: You can have a seizure while sleeping and your description of symptoms is consistent with a seizure and the confused " postictal' state after having one. It could also be a panic attack waking you up in the middle of the night but you need to see your provider and rule out seizures before assuming it is a panic attack.
