Probably not heart: Considering your age its unlikely the heart. But a full physical and and detailed history with an ekg and labs would be good to asess the problem and use for future comparison. Other non cardiac causes need to ruled out. Labs such as ANA , thyroid studies muscle enzymes should be included. ...Read more

You should seek out a non-surgical spine specialist (physical medicine or anesthesia pain doc). I am currently taking voriconazole for histoplasmosios. Can this cause neck pain? Neck pain started about 2 weeks ago, and hasnt let up. It only hurts on the left side. What can I do?

Neck : Neck or muscle pain is not listed as a side effect of voriconazole. This pain is likely caused by something else. Possibly a muscle spasm or strain. Have you tried any pain medications?
