Restless leg syndrom: Are you describing uncomfortable need to move around, maybe pins & needles or bugs crawling, that's relieved once you get out of bed? Or true muscle cramp, presumably in calf? Several things: Night-time leg cramps are common. Try stretching your calf muscles before going to bed: stand away from a wall and lean forward keeping one heel flat and bringing the other foot forward; hold 30-60 seconds and then stretch the other side.
