Some thots: This could be associated with a nerve compression in the neck, but could also represent compression of the brachial plexus, or at elbow or wrist. Arguably: Arguably the worst possible cause of severe pain felt in the shoulder blade and deep into the chest would be an uncommon condition called aortic dissection. Problems with the gallbladder and heart can also cause pain in the region of the shoulder or armpit (axilla). The spinal nerve corresponding to t2 also feels an area that involves the armpits and hoop-shaped strip of skin that runs across your chest above your nipples, through your armpits, and across your back at about the same level (it also involves part of the skin on the arm). After excluding things like dissection, heart problems, and gallbladder problems, a neurosurgeon may be helpful to get to a diagnosis and some relief.
CTS?: I suspect there is no connection between the pain in your arm and the numbness and tingling (paresthesia) in your hand. The most common cause for paresthesia in the hand is carpel tunnel syndrome. See http://bit. Ly/1xl3qje For more specific advice please consider an online consultation with a Health Tap physician. Chest pain to arm: If pain is not reproduced by pressure on breast-ribs then the pain is from inside chest = all organs inside can cause same symptoms. But must instantly rule out heart problems as sudden death can occur. The other vital organs need be urgently inspected to find the diagnosis. No sensory nerve inside the body resulting in pain of imprecise location. Intensive testings still do not reveal cause of pa.See 2 more doctor answers
