What could cause chronic indigestion, upper left back pain, chronic fatigue, nausea, stabbing headaches?

What could cause chronic indigestion, upper left back pain, chronic fatigue, nausea, stabbing headaches?

Related or not?: There are lots of possibilities here, all of which can be addressed by a physical exam and appropriate testing. Migraines for example can affect both head and gut ("intestinal migraine"). Please however don't contribute to your stomach upset by taking excessive nsaid's aimed at alleviating head ache. Get checked to rule out more esoteric pathology.

Recently started 10mg methotrexate for lupus. Completed 2 doses. Began having extreme fatigue, clay colored stools, indigestion. What can cause this?

Unlikely related to: Methotrexate, but will recommend to discuss with your rheumatologist and likely will need evaluation for your liver, gallbladder, and possible GI tract.

Abdominal pain, bloating and acid indigestion thought to be GERD now followed by constipation/fatigue/nausea - high fibre+omep/ran no effect, causes?

Abdominal pain, bloating and acid indigestion thought to be GERD now followed by constipation/fatigue/nausea - high fibre+omep/ran no effect, causes?

GI: Most common cause is often diet related, however once it gets to this point it is usually dysbiosis. Abnormal bacterial function. I often find patients with candida overgrowth, parasites, helicobacter or other infections when tested. Often when tested the patient has too little acid rather than too much acid in the stomach and digestive enzymes may help. Make sure you see a GI doctor to dx.

What could cause rapid weight gain if I recently increased my physical activity? I am also having issues with heartburn and mild fatigue. Related?

What could cause rapid weight gain if I recently increased my physical activity? I am also having issues with heartburn and mild fatigue. Related?

Heartburn or angina?: There may be a relationship. The increased activity may be straining your heart---heart burn can be mistaken for heart pain called angina. The weight gain may be fluid retention because of strain on your heart, which also causes fatigue. Or it could be several unrelated conditions. You need to call your doctor for a check up ---and do it soon.

Is there currently a virus going around that could cause the fatigue, nausea, dizzy spells and heartburn?

Is there currently a virus going around that could cause the fatigue, nausea, dizzy spells and heartburn?

Don't think so: Not aware of any viruses that fit those symptoms, but if you haven't been able to drink or eat due to a stomach bug, that may explain the dizziness.

I've got severe, persistent bloating for 3 months with upper left tummy pain, with a loss of appetite, indigestion, general tiredness, constipation??

Food intolerance: Intolerance to lactose or gluten may be the cause of your symptoms. Irritable bowel with constipation rather than diarrhea is a possibility. Try to note whether dairy products are a problem. Take simethicone or mylanta 1/2 hour after meals to prevent gas buildup. Drinking hot (not boiling) water helps break down gas. A gastroenterologist can evaluate and advise you best if symptoms persist.

What can I do about indigestion, burning in the stomach, and fatigue?

See a doctor: This needs a full detailed evaluation by a professional face to face. Bring with you a chronological list of each and every symptom you have experienced and provide a full history and allow a physical exam and possibly some laboratory testing. Could you be pregnant? Go and get seen. Good luck and best wishes.

For months and months now I've had nausea after eating, heartburn, indigestion, fatigue, diarrhoea, headaches and absent periods. What could be wrong?

Fatigue: I would get your thyroid checked as this could be something associated with all the symptoms. Pregnancy can be stressful and it can bring a thyroid problem on. You may have dysbiosis. That is a primary digestive problem. Have you tried a trial of probiotics
