Usually normal: This is normal in most people and just reflects the effects of gravity. Excessively red palms, known as palmar erythema, can be a sign of liver disease or other metabolic problems. Have your doctor check you out to be sure!

Noticed that when I stop running, put hands to my side, & start walking my hands feel puffy, turn red & white dotted. Put hands over head to stop it.

Noticed that when I stop running, put hands to my side, & start walking my hands feel puffy, turn red & white dotted. Put hands over head to stop it.

May be normal: When you exercise, the blood vessels in your skin dilate to get rid of the heat generated by the muscle activity. The dilated blood vessels can cause puffiness. When you put your hands over head, that decreases the pressure in the veins. If it persists or is very annoying see a doctor to make sure there is no problem with your circulation.
