May be blepharitis: Blepharitis causes closure of the meibomian gland orifices and inflammation of the eyelids. During sleep the inspissated oil gets out and it is stale & like poison. My eyes are getting dry, which leads to irritation and swelling of eyes.
I sleep at late nights around 2-3 am and wake around 10am.
