General symptoms: Individual diagnosis isn't possible in this forum; HealthTap prime or a primary care MD needed. In general, a number of viruses cause "constitutional symptoms" (like fevers, chills, sweats, fatigue, aches/pains).May or may not come w runny nose, cough, dizziness, diarrhea. Can last days or couple wks. However, bacterial infx can also (eg ear infection). T>101.5, symptoms worsening = see MD

I get dizzy spells & can't sleep very good taking lamotrigine for siezures is this normal?

Side effects: Lamotrigine is a very effective drug for seizures and has limited side effects other than a rash potential. But some pts do feel dizzy, and sleep disruption can occur, and on occasion, headaches do occur. Talk to your doctor, as perhaps you can modify dosing, and the extended release form may be far easier to tolerate.

Tired & dizzy: And seeing things in the night. You need a doctor ASAP. The symptoms you mention MAY be at least in part due to sleep deprivation but you need to know the cause for all of this. Your doc will help you figure it out to resolve it. Peace and good health.

Sleeping issues and dizzy spells. How do I change this? Bad mind set keeps me awake, not sure if skipping meals is making me more dizzy than usual?

Keep a sleep log for: A visit with your pediatrician. For delayed-onset sleep, hypnogogia (hallucinations or peculiar sensory experiences during transition to sleep) &/or daytime drowsiness, you need a sleep study for medical diagnosis, a psychologist for Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy & a psychiatrist for diagnosis, as you may have anxiety/depression. Do not skip meals. Do not drive till you're sleeping well.

Experiencing dizzy spells and having trouble sleeping at night. Are they connected or result of a bad flu? Had a bad flu since start of December.

Unusual: flu symptoms do not last one month. Dizzy spells, can mean many things depending on what you mean by dizziness. There is vertigo, or the sensation of spending, then there was dizzy lightheaded busy, and your sissy, feeling on steady And then the question is why can't you sleep at night? Can you not sleep because you having any kind of pain. Whatever the I think you need to be seen and evaluated.

Positional vertigo: When dizzy spells occur that give the sense of swaying or motion, and when they are worse with moving, this is usually a sign of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. This is not caused by lack of sleep or fatigue but rather by changes within the inner ear.

I get headaches about twice a week, migraines every few weeks. Dizzy spells, tremor, fatigue (can easily sleep 12hrs each night). Should I be worried?

I get headaches about twice a week, migraines every few weeks. Dizzy spells, tremor, fatigue (can easily sleep 12hrs each night). Should I be worried?

Don't worry, be seen: It sounds as if you're having a changing pattern of headaches. This can happen with various types of headache, but if you're feeling dizzy and shaky, as well as fatigue, you should see your doctor for evaluation of other causes of your symptoms, including exploration of why your headaches are escalating and how best to treat them. Don't worry, but don't put off seeing your doctor.

Does lamotrigine cause dizzy spells?

Possible: Most medications can cause dizziness but it should be confirmed that the spells occur only when you take the medication. You should stop the medication for about 2 weeks. If no dizzy spells occur then take the culprit drug again. If dizziness reoccurs then it is proved otherwise not.
