Many things: Please define YOUR meaning of the word "dizziness" because a number of things can cause isolated vertigo vs. Lightheadedness. I see that you've had a cardiac workup which is good. I take it that it was negative? Are your thyroid levels recently checked and OK? There is also a condition known as positional vertigo which is not uncommon in young people and misdiagnosed as other things. Read more

That's orthostasis: The positional vertigo you describe is called orthoststic hypotension. When going from sitting to standing, there is a transient drop in blood pressure as gravity pulls the blood down. To compensate, blood vessels squeeze and your heart beats a little harder/faster. Once the flow to your brain normalizes it resolves. Drink lots of water and transition slowly. See your doc if passing out. Read more
