NO It Does not: If a child is having Abdominal pain and Diarrhea , Acute Enteritis from something he/she ate caused it. It can be usually uncooked meat, vegetables or contamination from not properly washed produce. Very rarely from A=Oat meal though. Rx with Clear liquid diet, and BRAT diet for 2-3 days. No short answer: A number of possibillities, if he does much lifting he may be straining the muscles. He may have a prostate infection (that's often back pain though). He could have diverticulosis (pockets in the intestine) and they may get obstructed and/or infected at times(more often left side).
