Classic: This is the first thing I would think of if you came in to my office. If you have none of the things you mentioned in your note then I would watch the amount of activity that you do and the activity. Try being careful and waiting a couple fo days . Hematuria: Your hematuria (h) does not seem to be due to a lesion in your kidneys. Do you have a urinary tract infection (uti)? Your statement, "meds for not not work work", implies that you may have one. If you have no uti, you may need a cystoscopy to see if your bladder is the source of your h. A urologist can do this test. If negative, you may have a glomerulonephritis causing your h, see a nephrologist. ...Read more

Yes: If the kidney stone blocks the flow of urine from the kidney, you can get permanent kidney damage, but that can take weeks to happen and is associated with severe pain. Also, kidney stones can become infected from pyelonephritis (kidney infection - not a typical urinary tract infection (uti)) and be challenging to treat. BP Rx needed: First of all, you need to have your obvious hypertension treated with medication. Secondly, have your OB GYN search for answers as to why you are still having pain 2 months post partum C/S which is not normal. The back pain may be related to the blood in your urine, wither with a urinary tract infection/pyelonephritis or a complication/cause of the hypertension. A Urologist is a good idea. ...Read more
