Unlikely: It's very unlikely for "tilted" cervix to cause sexual difficulties (you didn't mention what kind) since most are not aware of their cervix position & do just fine. If you're concerned, please write back w/more detail re specific sexual difficulties. Better yet, discuss your concerns w/your FamilyDoc, GYN or Planned Parenthood. I was told during my pap today that I have a downward tilted cervix? What does this mean? Could a leep procedure have caused it
Not currently pregnant nor plan to be but have been told my tilted cervix could cause complications in delivery. What would prevent vaginal birth?
I Don't agree: Unless there is a significant congenital abnormality in your cervix, it is doubtful that a "tilted cervix" would cause problems with a vaginal delivery tho i need a more exact description. Maybe you are referring to a tilted uterus which is still not a reason to fear, necessarily. See a board-certified ob-gyn for a reliable answer. ...Read more
