Depends: What exercise were doing? Any pain during or only after? How long does it last? Any repetitive activity can lend itself to an overuse syndrome. Severe muscle cramping can occur after endurance exercise is most often related to dehydration or electrolyte imbalance. Repetitive impact can result in a stress injury. Pre-existing back problems can worsen with repetitive jarring and aggravate a nerve. ...Read more
Feeling very weak in the legs after exercising? I feel great starting out. My stamina is down too.
See below.: This could be just exertion or it could be a sign of insufficient blood supply or a nerve irritation problem. If it is just exertion and lack of conditioning it will get better with more exercise, but blood flow problems and nerve irritation problems will persist and get worse with time. ...Read more
Depends on exercise.: It depends on gthe exercise you might have been doing. Repetitive motion might put pressure on some joints and bones over time and cause pain, as well as the sudden relief of the action. The muscles may need relief. This might be a circulation issue or a plantar fasciitis issue with pain from weight on your foot and lower leg. Sports make you use all your muscles, etc. Be more diverse. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Do cardio walk & low impact leg exercises. After exercising I stretch my entire body for 20 minutes. Why are my hamstrings sore despite stretching?
Muscle soreness: It could be normal for the muscle to become sore when the routine changes, or the exercise is strenuous enough to cause some lactic acidosis in the muscle tissue...One needs to be sure the hamstrings are the source of pain and that the pain does not result from back problems. ...Read more

Can U Be specific?:
Where in the leg is the lump? Leg is between the knee and ankle joints. It could be anything, arising from skin, fat, muscle or the bone. If its near a joint then it could be from joint tissues.

Lump under skin on thigh, painful to touch, causes whole leg to hurt, feels like fluid, caused from friend punching me & I've had it for about 7 week?
I have a lump/bump on the lower side on my leg on both legs. What may this be and what may be the cause?
Lumps: If the lumps are quite similar in character, size and are on the same location on each leg, they probably are benign and nonpathological. However a physician would have to examine the lumps in order to make a diagnosis. A nonsymetrical Lump in the lower leg may be a varicose vein, inclusion cyst or even small herniation of tissue through a muscle. ...Read more
Contemplating if I should go to the emergency room for a lump in my back that I believe cause great pain throughout my lower back, butt, & left leg?
No Need for ER visit: Pain in the distribution as you suggested describes the pattern of the nerve that travels in the leg called the sciatic nerve. The sciatic nerve is not the cause of the pain source, it is the result of an irritated nerve typically in the lumbar spine (low back) which are caused by herniated disks, spinal stenosis or degenerative disc disease requiring further evaluation by a spine specialist. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
I have a rock hard lump on shin about halfway down my leg. Sort of feels attached to bone. What could cause this?
Periosteal hematoma: If you had some local blunt trauma to your shin, the periosteal coating that surrounds the bone ("hot dog casing") is injured. As it is very vascular, it will bleed and can bulge and create a lump or hematoma. If it does not subside over the course of days to weeks, you should be evaluated ...Read more
Got a small lump on my tibia two weeks ago. It moves with the skin, not attached to the bone. Causes other pain in my leg, as high as my glute.
How small?: If not attached to bone, this my be a skin cyst or small skin growth called dermatofibroma. It would be unusual for a small growth on the tibia, to cause pain going up to your glut in your buttocks. IS it red or warm? Any pain that persists deserves to be examined by a docctor. ...Read more

What would be the cause of a reoccurring warm sensation in my calf. Sometimes it's is also just a feeling there. Not lumps, bruises, my leg looks norm?
What you describe: May be what we call a "dysaesthesia". This is a sensation we perceive that doesn't have any obvious cause. Pain from an injury is NOT a dysaesthesia b/c there's an obvious cause. Dyasethesias are often caused by inflammation, pressure or overreaction of the nerves that send impulses from a specific part of the body to the brain. Determining a specific diagnosis or cause requires a medical eval. ...Read more
