So I'm not : Sure what "the ball of your pinky toe" is.. But, I think your describing the proximal interphalangeal joint. People get dead skin or a corn there as the joint is slightly bent and rotated and it rubs against the shoe. If this is the situation be mindful of your shoes or see a foot doc that can perform a minor procedure to cut a little bone away so that the problem goes away. ...Read more
