At what age does a child out grow flat feet ? My child is 5 and pediatrician said she has very flat feet and this does cause some knee psin

Outgrowing Flat Feet: There are stable flat feet and unstable flat feet in children. Podiatrists are very skilled at recognizing the difference. As the child walks, the heel valgus can be measured and by 5years old should be only 2-3 degrees off a vertical heel. See a podiatrist to check out where your child is. Good luck.
