Symptomatic relief: is best after discussion with your PCP or doctor. Make sure this is documented in your chart as ALLERGY TO BACTRIM/SULFAS. The symptomatic relief is perhaps the best, like ice chips, no hot, spicy, foods. Keep it bland, hydrating, easy to digest as your entire throat may also be affected down to your gut. Depends: Angular cheilitis is usually a yeast infection at the angles of the mouth and clears with antiyeast cream. Blisters are usually herpes virus which tends to affect the lining of the mouth on the gums, lips and hard palate. It may take several weeks for them to heal.
