Hydration & Exercise: There are many reasons for relative constipation. Have your md review your current medications for constipation as side effect. Fiber (with enough water) very helpful, and you need to titrate up to full doses or you will get gassy. A healthy, fiber filled diet always good, and don't forget to drink more water. Too much fiber?: Fiber is the non-digestible part of plants, etc. A byproduct of this incomplete digestion is gas. This may be the cause of your bloating. Check with your physician about maybe reducing your fiber intake or what else may be the cause. ...Read more

May have slow bowels: Sometimes people have slow transit time. The time from mouth to anus. This may be helped by the fiber and water. Bloating: when you eat fast you do not chew properly and you also swallow a lot of air. I would first try to eat slowly and chew your food. See if that changes things. Also avoid gassy foods like cauliflower, beans, chic peas etc.. ...Read more
