?irritants?: The first months are troubled by narrow nasal passages & exposure to dust, fragrences, smoke & other irritants.Baby tries to flush these out of the nose with mucous but this often ends as congestion & produces rattling with breathing. See allergist?: Although it is difficult to diagnose asthma before age 3, I think it is time for you to bring the child to an allergist.The risk of asthma is much higher when there is a history of eczema, asthma in the mother, or allergic sensitization (passive tobacco smoke exposure too).
