I have indentations on the back of my head right above my ears. When ever they appear I have a massive headache. Not due to glasses as they are new.
Sounds like: your headaches are consistent with a spasm in the temporalis muscles. The back edge (posterior border) of the muscle is approximately where you describe. I a tense contracted state or spasm it will puff up and protrude hence the bump. Do you happen to clench or grind your teeth? Muscle irritation: It sounds like the glasses or headband are irritating the muscles around the ears. The temporalis muscles are in front and in back of the ears. Some people are more sensitive and compression by glasses or a headband may cause these to tighten and lead to pain. I have strep throat, and have been taking amoxicillin for two days. My throat feels better, but i can't quit coughing. My ears and throat feel swollen. Could this be allergies on top of the strep? If so can I take nasal spray or allegra on top of the amox
