Perhaps: Bee venom often induces swelling and itching even if you are not allergic to it. However you reaction may also signal the presence of bee venom allergy. If you have no other problems such as fainting, breathing problem , or throat swelling, no further treatment is indicated. Be sure to scrape out or use tweezer to remove the stinger nearest to the skin when you get stung again next time. ...Read more

Mosquito bites: Mosquitos can be a real nuisance. The saliva from the insect bite can cause an itchy reaction that is a problem for some people. Try an ice pack to cool off the itching- 10 min on/10 min off. If need something more, Hydrocortisone 1% cream to area (but not the face!) 1 or 2x/day. An oral antihistamine like Benadryl (diphenhydramine) or Claritin could also help. Avoidance is best- long pants, socks + bug repellant. ...Read more

Allergy?: This is not necessarily an allergy. These symptoms may be associated with infections as well such as yeast among others.
