2 separate problems: These 2 problems should be addressed separately. 1. swollen gums - can be a sign that you are at risk for, or already have, gum disease. See your dentist. 2. Headache, joint aches, fever - seasonal flu is very common viral infection with symptoms you have described. Usually the condition resolves on its own with home care. Drink water, NSAIDs and get a good rest. Good luck.

Can gingivitis (gum bleeding) cause a bump to form on the gum jaw?

Can gingivitis (gum bleeding) cause a bump to form on the gum jaw?

Possibly: The bump could possibly be a parulis, which is essentially a pimple formed by pus trying to push through the gingiva and exit. Or the bump could be a range of other problems. Either way, it is important to not wait to see a dentist. A new bump is not normal, and it will likely not go away on its own, so there is little point in waiting it out.

Nose blocked and cannot breath and watery eyes caused by severe hay fever, how can I make it easier to breath? Thank you

See below: Usually for upper respiratory infections and allergies, there are several things that can help. Nothing I've found completely resolves symptoms. Try a neti pot, afrin nasal spray (for 3 days only) and antihistamine/decongestant combos over the counter. If that doesn't work, astelin nasal spray is a prescription that works well.
