Get to a clinic: Very painful = needs exam and treatment. Until you are examined, diagnosed and treated, there is little other than hoping it passes soon that can be done. Not sure: It is not clear why, but infections in the face can cause headaches too, perhaps the two headaches make the pain worse. Infections are not known to make IIH feel worse. Hope that helps. ...Read more
