What Are The Symptoms Of Anxiety Or Panic Attack
Im being tested for overactive thyroid. The doctor put me on clonazepam and citalopram in the mean time for severe anxiety/panic attacks. Is severe weeakness a symptom of the thyroid or the meds?
Hard to say: Without knowing your thyroid test results, this is very hard to say. If the weakness onset was right after starting the medications, that may be the cause. If you have sever hyperthyroidism ( TSH is very low and your free thyroxine, t4, is very high), then your thyroid could be contributing. An evaluation by your doctor shoudl be able to tell the difference, or find another explanation. ...Read more

Hello I suffer from anxiety and lack of sleep and panic attack since 2011 and have used many drugs, including Cipralex 20 and Remeron15 clonazepam1 mg and then stopped taking the full year after it returned the symptoms of anxiety and sleep and IBS I had
?: what is your question? The medications you mention are all good for anxiety. Clonazepam should be for short term use only as your body will develop tolerance. Mirtazepine is good for sleep and anxiety and 15 mg is a low ode as I prescribe up to 45. It is best to maximize one med and then try another rather than being on 2 or 3 at the same time. It might be possible to have both in the same person. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Can u have a panic attack when u r relaxed with no anxious thoughts and no trigger? I have no stress/anxiety. Symptoms are = to panic, though.
Panic attacks: By definition, panic attacks come out of the blue -- they do not have predictable triggers. And you would be the first person I have met in over 30 years of medical practice who has absolutely "no stress/anxiety." I have known many people, though, who are so disconnected from their inner lives that they don't notice when they're anxious.
