GABA supplement?: I don't know what "gaba supplement" is. And no one likely does -- that is it isn't regulated so it can be anything. I would not suggest putting things in your mouth that you don't know the composition of. If you look at my background you'll see I've published on the GABA receptor. Don't eat non-edible: I cannot imagine that eating charcoal is not somehow harmful. Generally an urge to consume non-edible substances is pica regardless of vitamins or anemia. You should consult with a psychiatrist as soon as possible. ...Read more

Constipation and...: Iron supplements often cause constipation and will turn your stool black. They can also cause stomach upset and occ. Diarrhea and cramping- these tend to lessen over time. But they are usually well-tolerated. Taking vit. C with them improves absorption.
