See your doctor: You are taking the right steps by seeing your primary doctor who can send you to the proper specialist for your problem. Good luck.

Brown spots on hands little pink dots appearing as well?

Brown spots on hands little pink dots appearing as well?

I am not certain: Exactly what you are asking and don't know whether these spots and dots are flat, raised, painful, painless, large, small, associated with eachother or not, on the back of the hand, or palms, on the fingers or not and how long have they been there. A few more details would help...thanks!

Cold feet: You don't mention if your feet warm with socks or under a blanket. If they do not, seek medical attention right away. The dry skin can be related to circulation as can the discoloration. See your podiatrist or your dermatologist.

Could Accutane cause brown spots on hands?

Could Accutane cause brown spots on hands?

Brown Spots: Brown spots may be due to a lack of vitamin C or B12, anemia, weak liver function or cumulative sun damage. It's important to investigate each potential cause; your doctor can help. Accutane makes you sun sensitive which can cause brown spots.

I have I brown spots in my hand and I don't know how I got it or what it might be its in my right hand and right now I only have two spots

Without: Without seeing the lesions in question, brown spots on the hands are typically age or sun spots. To be safe visit your primary care provider or dermatologist for an evaluation. All the best.

I have brown spots on the front of my hands, looks like syphilis but I'm a virgin (no oral and never been kissed) so that can't be. What could it be?

I have brown spots on the front of my hands, looks like syphilis but I'm a virgin (no oral and never been kissed) so that can't be. What could it be?

Gee whiz: Skin lesions need to be seen to be understood and properly diagnosed. Syphilis skin problems are usually a manifestation of secondary or tertiary syphislis. See your doctor if you're concerned about the skin lesions.

I started getting these brown spots on the palms of my hands and fingers. What could it be from?

I started getting these brown spots on the palms of my hands and fingers. What could it be from?

Many things: It's hard to do dermatology without being able to see the spots. I suggest seeing a doctor for this. In addition to seeing the spots, the doctor will also look at your med list, what you do with your hands, any health problems you have that my be contributing, etc.

Have you considered: Treatment with ipl (intense pulsed light)? This can be quite effective for brown spots on the back on the hands.

I've had little light brown spots pop up on my hand and disappear and then show up somewhere else on my hand. What are they?

I've had little light brown spots pop up on my hand and disappear and then show up somewhere else on my hand. What are they?

Hard to tell: Without seeing a picture of the spots. If they pop up again, take a picture and use the Healthtap consultation service - there we can see the pictures you upload. Or see your local PCP so they can examine them more closely.

Dermatologist: A dermatologist is best qualified to examine you and make a diagnosis. Perhaps these pigmented spots are insignificant but without seeing them a physician is unable to advise you.

Needs to be seen: It is impossible to determine what these spots are without them being seen. If they are of concern to you, make an appointment for your physician to see them so they can make a diagnosis.

Why am I getting a lot of brown spots on my arms, back of hands and chest area?

Why am I getting a lot of brown spots on my arms, back of hands and chest area?

Many possibilities: There are many types and causes of skin rashes. Several types of inflammatory conditions of the skin, allergic reactions, and sometimes bacterial, viral or fungal infections can cause rashes on the skin. Insect bites can also be the cause of a rash on the skin. Have it evaluated by a professional and get the appropriate treatment.
