I have dry peeling skin on my right breast. Very little on left breast as well, mostly around my areola. Could it be dry skin? No itching no redness.

Probably: This probably is a case of dry skin. This might be caused by friction from exercise (especially runners) soaps, hot showers, hot baths — basically anything that can strip away the oils that keep our skin from drying and peeling. If it doesn't improve with a skin moisturizer, it is best to see your Dr to determine why. ...Read more

C radiance peel hi I wanted to know if its safe for me to use c radian peel while im breast feeding? Also, rapid age spot&pigment light cream

Maybe: I am unfamiliar with the c radian peel. Murad makes a rapid age & pigment cream. General good advice is if you cannot pronounce the ingredients don't use it. If you cannot use it ona baby, don't use it (a baby wouldn't need it- it refers to the sensitivity of their skin). Check out schmoove cream (totally safe for everyone!) at www.Franzcenter. Should I moisturize my baby’s peeling skin?

Should I moisturize my baby’s peeling skin?

Yes: If you are talking about the normal peeling of new infant skin in the first month, sure it is fine to do a moisturizer, as long as it is unscented, and preferably a creme rather than a lotion. Can I pick off my baby’s peeling skin?

No: Just leave it alone. It will simply fall off on its own. If you are worried that the skin is so dry that it may be getting cracked in certain locations (wrists or ankles in particular right after birth), try applying some vasoline or aquaphor ointment. In due time, the old (dead skin) will simply fall off as you bathe your baby and the new skin underneath will be nice and soft. ...Read more
