What Are The Most Sensitive Pregnancy Tests
Week late, all home pregnancy tests neg. Thoughts? Have a gyn exam in 3 days. Is their test more sensitive? Harmful to get a gyn exam if false neg?
Trust the test: Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctors office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period. If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection. ...Read more

Home pregnancy tests are very simple and very accurate. ...Read more

Had the implant and didn't use protection for a week. Now pains in my tummy, breasts are sensitive. Did 4 pregnancy tests and all were no. What's wron?
Period is 2 weeks late. Mild cramps, swollen breasts, sensitive nipples, visible blue veins. 2 negative pregnancy tests. Possibly pregnant?
Maybe: The cycle length alone is not helpful. You could have ovulated late or not ovulated at all. You can tell where you are with blood tests for Progesterone and perhaps hcg. If prog. Elevated then you are luteal and menses with come - could be pregnant. If prog low and HCG neg, then you did not ovulate & are not pregnant. Doc can induce menses and start over or wait for natural bleed. Best wishes. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
Measure hormones: Pregnancy tests measure the level of a hormone called human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hcg), which begins to be produced when the fertilized egg implants into the uterine wall.
