Two possibilities!: Initial diagnosis was wrong! but no medicines to treat sle! that makes me wonder if you see a rheumatologist, which you should with lupus. The second possibility, is that lupus treatment may have eradicated your double-stranded dna titer, such that the diagnosis, if corroborated by this test, with clinical features, is no longer positive. See Rheumatologist: Not sure if the doctor is a rheumatologist or Primary Care. Need to see a Rheumatologist. The Ana blood test has differrent degrees. 1:40 is weak, but 1:620 is pretty strong. You need follow up testing that would provide more specific results and then everything should be considered-your symtpoms, objective and subjective findings, blood tests.
