Doctor insights on:
What Are The Ingredients In Natalcare Plus Vitamins
Probably safe but...:
I can't know for sure as I was unable to find details of what they contain. I found this list of ingredients: http://tinyurl. Com/z9av57t
It looks like they contain herbs rather than vitamins. These herbs have a long history of medicinal use and are generally safe, but not all herbs are appropriate for everyone so side effects are possible. The FDA does not "approve" supplements but regulates them. ...Read more
It would be prudent to talk to the doctor who prescribed these. In general vitamin D3 is better than D2. You can safely take about 4000 units of vitamin D3 daily. Taking B12 orally may not work if you cannot absorb it. If you are prescribed 5000 mcg/day that is far more than you need. Let me reiterate, talk to your doctor, if you do not have a rapport with him/her, see a new doctor. Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form.
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. ...Read more
Hi can I take multi vitamin simply I want to be more healthier and active and I go gym can I take centrum but im not sure because it says 50and plus?
What can you do to build your vitamin d if you are not out in the sun a lot plus would going to tan bed work too?
Take Vit. D3:
The only way to "build" vit d is to be in the mid-day sun during spring ; summer months. Tanning beds are dangerous, supplying mostly the type of uv rays that cause skin cancer ; that don't create vit d- see http://healthpsych. Psy. Vanderbilt. Edu/2009/tanningbeds. Htm
the best way to insure adequate d is to take 5-8000 iu of d3/day during fall ; winter- year-round if you don't get sun. See comment:. ...Read more
I have pain in my right side & I've been taking plexus pink drink along with their vitamin pill (x factor) & accelerator plus & block pills?
Exam needed to know: There are many causes of abdominal pain, some of which can be simply annoying, like constipation, others can be deadly. The best way to make sure it's nothing dangerous is to be examined by a health care provider. Most of the time the cause can be determined with a physical exam and a few simple tests. Less often, an imaging study or looking inside the gut with a scope (endoscopy) is needed. ...Read more

My boyfriend works 3rd shift (10pm-6am) and stays up for an hour or two after work. But can sleep for like 10-15 hours plus when he lays down. He doesn't want to keep sleeping the day away. Is there any vitamins or something he can take to make him not
No: There is no real alternative to sleep. He will need to organize his time to still get 6-8 hours sleep - difficult to do with his work hours. It seems his complaint though is not the problem of staying asleep in daylight, but rather having to sleep in daytime at all. He may need to get a "day job". ...Read more
Probably not: Normal, healthy people in the developed world are usually not vitamin deficient, but can take a daily vitamin with minerals supplement just to make sure they get some vitamins and minerals that might not be in their diet if they don't have a very varied diet. Such supplements don't increase or decrease weight gain in normal people. One can check to see how many calories are in her supplements. ...Read more
Helpful, not harmful:
Vitamin C protects against cardiovascular disease and increases longevity. I recommend everyone take 500-2000 mg of Vit C 2x/day. See http://bit. Ly/1fZ7IWk
Zinc deficiency is very common (over 40% of Americans are deficient) and taking zinc has many benefits, though too much can have adverse effects. Doses of 15-30 mg are safe.

Likely yes; however: There is no harm in taking them together; however, b vitamins are commonly nauseating. Therefore, taking them together may increase the risk of nausea. Gave up diet soda a year ago. I drink 2-3 liters of water daily plus 2 Vitamin Water Zero daily with lunch one & dinner for flavor. Safe choice?
I think this sounds: Pretty good. Vitamin Water Zero passes a lot of nutritional tests: it is calorie free, has no artificial sweeteners (sweetened with Trulia and fructose) and no artificial dyes. You are getting 200% of the vitamin C recommended daily value (100% in each 8 oz), but close to 100% of a handful of B vitamins and a boost for a few more. Total fluid intake: about 84 to 118 oz daily. Generous but ok:) ...Read more
Check levels: In two years you will be 40. Most people require a suppliment of d3 after age 40. B12 is often a problem but is replaced with a shot or a sub lingual form of the vitamin.
