4 a year had L leg/foot pain numbness/cramps up bad feels like went 2 ER said interm coagulation . Never stopped / in bed for10 y worse when.on myfeet?

The question is : A little unclear. But, if you have numbness I would look to have an Emg/NCV performed to see if there is any radiculopathy from the lower back. Regarding the cramps, I would make sure there is no circulatory disturbance and would start with arterial dopplers and consider a magnesium supplement. Keep in mind these are things to consider after a medical exam by a doctor, ...Read more

Yes: Sciatica refers to the development of symptoms such as pain or numbness in the leg or foot stemming from the irritation of a nerve in the back. It is one possible cause of the symptoms you are describing. The "over the counter" blood glucose machines are in general reasonably accurate, if there is any question you could also have your blood sugar checked at your doctors office. ...Read more

I am sorry : To hear your problem. Without knowing what procedures you had or being able to exam your foot it makes it a little more difficult. Has anyone made any suggestions to you? It would be important to pinpoint pain and then possibly try and inject the region. Doctors have various medications at their disposal they may want to inject with the aim of relieving your symptoms. Can a pinched nerve cause Numbness and weakness that comes and go on the right arm/hand and right leg/foot? Also, pain in the shoulder blade/bicep.

Yes: Numbness and weakness in the right upper and lower extremities may indicate nerve compression at the level of the spine. Dr suspects disc herniation bc I have bad pain&numbness in my back, arms,&both legs.Lately my hands/bottom of feet hurt to.could it be RA instead?

Less likely: While it is not impossible for RA to affect large joints like the back/spine, it is much more likely to affect the smaller joints such as in the fingers. However, in order for there to be a disc herniation affecting both your arms and legs it would have to be quite high up, in your upper back or neck. Testing, including CT/MRI imaging, and blood tests are needed. Work with your doctor to diagnose. ...Read more

I have been less active since studying for school. Calves and thighs became weaker. Could my weak legs be the cause of my plantarfaciitis/foot pain?

I have been less active since studying for school. Calves and thighs became weaker. Could my weak legs be the cause of my plantarfaciitis/foot pain?

Plantar Fascia: To answer your question, consider the anatomy of the plantar fascia, which stretches across your foot. Studies show it works with the Achilles' tendon to store and release energy while running. See sports med MD to evaluate whether calf tenderness, fallen foot arches or FDP muscle tightness contribute. Roll out your PF with a golf ball and stretch your calves, consider a night brace/phys therapy. ...Read more
