What Are The Chances Of Getting Cancer On Humira
Perhaps: Humira (adalimumab) is an immune system modulator. No one would take this medication to turn down the immune system (with the potential that a new cancer might not be noticed) unless there was a greater problem at hand. If your rheumatoid arthritis is tolerable, as is, then please don't start on this medication. On the other hand, life is a series of trade-offs. Take this medicine if it is worth it.See 1 more doctor answer

Is humira safe for me to go on? I am worried about getting infections and maybe cancer. And about the long term side effects?
Do you NEED it?: All decisions to take medication, even an aspirin, weigh risks and benefits. Apart from hormone replacements and nutritional supplements, the only medicines that do not have significant side effects are the placebo treatments of charlatans. Adalimumab has enabled people crippled by arthritis, psoriasis, colitis and so forth to live normal lives. Infections recognized early can be managed.
How much more does taking humira (adalimumab) once a week versus bi weekly increase chances of lymphoma?
Humira (adalimumab): Side effects depend on several factors: the original disease, concomitant use of other medications like immunosuppressants. Dosing / frequency differ for from one indication to the other, and lymphoma isn't the only thing to worry about, confer with your doctor about risk/benefit ratio, and close follow up, no one can precisely predict, judicious use and weighing alternatives should be followed
Promising results...: A number of case studies and small trials are demonstrating some promise with this biologic agent. However, it's still considered experimental.

Is it safe to get Humira (adalimumab) injections for ulcerative colitis if you have Parkinson's Disease?
I inject humira (adalimumab) in my stomach and sometimes I get a bruise, sometimes I don't. How do I stay bruise fee? Its not the pen its the syringe.
Try this.: When you bruise it is because you have injured a small vessel that leaks some blood before it finally clots off. There is no way to avoid hitting a vessel you can't even see but you could try holding some firm pressure against the injection site for a few minutes after injection. No guarantees.
I have been taking humira (adalimumab) 40 mg every two weeks for six weeks. My RA is much better. I get nausea, dizziness and fatigue that last for 48 hours after the injection. Will these symptoms dissipate over time?
I have rheumatoid arthritis and take methotrexate and humira (adalimumab) injections. I want to get look better by getting filler for my face. Please let me know which ones are not in conflict with my medications. Thanks?
Filler options: You need to avoid sculptra with RA as you may be at increased risk for nodule and granuloma formation. Ha fillers like juvederm or Restylane (dermal fillers) should be safe but last only a year or so. Fat transfer is a good long term option but has more down time. Consult with a local experienced facial plastic surgeon.See 1 more doctor answer
I went to the doctor today bc of frequent urination. I get up at least twice a night to pee. My urine also smells very strong. No infection. On Humira?
Humira Side Effects: While frequent urination (polyuria) is a reported side effect, it is best to be checked for diabetes as well. A simple series of tests can rule that in or out. How long have you been on Humira? If a long time, and this is a new finding, I would definitely get checked for diabetes first, and then your physician can go from there with the further work up, if indicated
