Speak with your Dr: Hot flashes are common with taking this medication. I am not familiar with sage a nd it's indications or side effects. I recommend you contact your oncologist and let him/her know about the symptoms your experiencing. You can be switched to another medication, which my have less side effects. Would like to know why you were taken off HRT. Your levels of estrogen (E1, E2, E3), Progesterone & testosterone should be measured by saliva. If low they can be replaced by Bio Identical a Hormone Therapy. Not synthetic (Premarin, etc). No problem taking black cohosh, flax. Many times it is not necessary to replace hormones. Have thyroid and 4 point cortisol (saliva) checked.
