What Are Some Physical Therapy Exercises For The Deltoid
Many: Front and lateral shoulder raises work the anterior and medial deltoid. Certain rows work the posterior deltoid. Use a resistance band or a very light weight and don't over do. You really need someone to teach you this stuff in person, hands on, so you don't get injured.See 1 more doctor answer
I seemed to have strained my deltoid muscle in my right arm. How long does it take to heal and would physical therapy help?
Usually weeks: Depending on how bad the injury, it can take weeks, or even longer. Especially as we get older, our risk for muscle injuries and the time it takes to recover both increase. Physical therapy is definitely helpful, as is resting and avoiding activities that make it hurt more. Good luck.
See below: Check out spine health you can google this there's an article about abdominal and back strengthening exercises. Good luck thank you.See 2 more doctor answers
Core strengthening: Once you get the ok to exercise from your doctor, work on strengthening your abs and back muscles which will be protective of your spine. You need to do them in a way so as to not cause pain or other injury. Best to work with a physical therapist to develop a home exercise program.See 1 more doctor answer

Motion and strength: A fibula fracture usually requires. Bit of immobilization which can cause stiffness nd muscle trophy. Physical therapy will help maximize functional recovery by first negating stiffness and obtaining full motion. Next, atrophy from disuse is reversed with a strengthening program. Finally, balance, endurance nd gait retraining are employed return your extremity as close o normal as possible.
Gradual exercise: Exercises including plantar flexion, dorsiflexion, and foot circles should be started early, once acute pain and swelling subside, to maintain range of motion. The intensity of rehabilitation is increased gradually. Ankle splints or braces can limit extremes of joint motion and allow early weight bearing while protecting against reinjury.See 1 more doctor answer
Not much: Unfortunately there is not a lot of therapy for a gamekeeper or skiers thumb. If it is not severe then a period of splinting for 3 to 6 weeks can be used followed by motion exercises. If it is severe, and an orthopedist must determine that, then surgery s treatment of choice.See 1 more doctor answer
