Could be awhile: Hard to know. Mucous retention cysts in sinuses (polyps) are only visible on imaging studies. They usually don't cause symptoms. Plus, not sure they'll work anyway; more likely help nasal polyps, not sinus polyps. Irrigation also more likely helpful if sinus surgery has opened passages (like having "windows" made). ...Read more
