Pregnancy (Definition)

When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more

Possible, However..: I suppose it's possible you conceived earlier than is being calculated, but i would also go by what your ultrasounds are saying as well. The size of the baby helps us date a pregnancy and figure out approximately how far along a pregnancy is and the due date, but sometimes this can be off a little bit. I am a bit doubtful that your scan would show a baby 41 weeks big if conceived a month earlier. ...Read more

Is sex/semen safe for the baby during early pregnancy? How about mid and late pregnancy?

Is sex/semen safe for the baby during early pregnancy? How about mid and late pregnancy?

Yes: There's no medical evidence to suggest that sex during pregnancy does any harm to the baby. Your baby is well cushioned by a sac of fluid well beyond the neck of the womb (cervix). A loving physical relationship is important for your wellbeing, and your partner's as well, during pregnancy. ...Read more

Hello. : Hello. Yes, you do pay attention to your body. As you are already aware, the pregnant body in response to increased estrogen produces more vaginal and cervical secretions. Often white. Additionally (in some women) the cervix will go up a little higher and feel softer. Other possible symtpoms of pregnancy include: breast tenderness and / or swelling; nausea and vomiting; constipation; feeling tired; moodiness; food cravings, increased urinary frequency, insomnia, backaches headaches; cramps of lower abdomen, passing gas, and increased salivation. Remember that these symptoms don't begin in a woman until she has missed her period (or some time thereafter). You could still be pregnant with a negative pregnancy test if you tested right around the time you missed your period. This is because sometimes the HCG level isn't high enough to trigger a positive on the test. It can be repeated in a week or less. Take the pregnancy test exactly as the directions state. Pee on the stick (best for first morning void) and read the time exactly when it says to. I don't know if you are pregnant. I would repeat the test. ...Read more
