What Are Healthy Diets For My Wife And I Trying To Have A Baby
Is there any fertility pills do you recomend? Me and my husband are trying to have a baby for almost a yr now. Pls help.
Nothing OTC: Fertility drugs of various kinds are available by prescription only, often used when a patient is working with a fertility specialist. Many things can affect fertility, it's not that simple. Tell your doctor your concerns. He/she can help you learn if you are ovulating, when you are most fertile, whether your partner has an adequate sperm count, and give advice on if/when to see a specialist. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Like all life on planet humans are open systems which keep tearing down their structure & require intake of atoms/molecules from which to rebuild their structure. My husband and I are trying to have a baby and we really want a girl. Is there anything we can do to increase our chances for having a girl?
Gender Selection: The answer is yes, provided you are willing to have high tech treatment. Naturally the chances are 50%. A research method, microsort, is not available now. But, some ivf centers will create embryos and then perform genetic testing of embryo (pgd) for chromosomes including sex. We then transfer the genetically normal female embryos and if pregnant, it will be a girl. See http://bit.Ly/zc2oav. ...Read moreSee 3 more doctor answers

Me and my husband are trying to have a baby... What steps do we need to take?? We have been trying but no luck
More info needed: Hello! Thanks for your question! In general, I would not consider you have infertility issues until you have tried to conceive for over a year without success. If it's been over that long, you'll want to have an evaluation for infertility. Also, your husband may want to get a sperm count to see that could be the problem. I hope this helps! ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
My husband and I have been trying to concieve a baby for 4 months and nothing yet. What are somethings we can do to help?
Dont worry: Try to know when you are ovulating (mid-cycle or day 14) and try coitus every other day the 3 days before and after that day. Your chances of conceiving in any one cycle are 17-20%. It is not a problem unless you try this for one year (12 cycles) and don't conceive. ...Read more
My wife and I are trying to have a baby. we've been tracking cycles with no luck. is there anything I can do on my end to improve my chances?
Hi! me and my husband trying to hve baby for like a year already. Is conceiveeasy is effective and safe to use? We really want to have a baby.
My boyfriend and I both have alpha thalassemia. We are trying to conceive, is it possible to have a healthy child?
And if not what are our options?
My wife and I have a baby boy already but we are now looking for a baby girl. What can we do to increase the chances of having a baby girl?
Best chance: Although there are many myths, none of them work. If you are serious about having a girl then your best chances are doing ivf with pgs- pre-genetic screening. You can screen all 23 chromosomes, so you only put back girl embryos, you will know that they are chromosome healthy. This is an expensive option but the only one that "works". Hope this helps. ...Read moreSee 3 more doctor answers

It is likely ok: It is always recommended to eat healthy during pregnancy by taking in the appropriate and right amount of the different food groups. We plan on trying for a baby in several months. What can I be doing now to prepare my body for conception and a healthy pregnancy?
Get healthy!: In general, anything you can do to optimize your general health will increase your chances for an easy/healthy conception and pregnancy. Eat right, exercise, minimize tobacco or other substances (alcohol ok in moderation). Start taking a prenatal vitamin with at least 800mcg of Folic Acid to reduce risk of birth defects. And ask your doctor to check that youre immune to varicella and rubella. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Me and my partner have been trying to have a baby for almost 6 months now. What can we do to help become pregnant?
Many things: I am assuming that the fundamentals of intercourse are known. Time your sex efforts to coincide with ovulation usually 2 weeks afte the period. Do not empty your bladder post intercourse for at least one hour to give the"swimmers"(sperm) a chance to crest the "waterfall". After 1 to 2 years of unprotected intercourse fails, see a gyn/fertiilty md for more details. ...Read more
My brother and his partner have been trying for a baby for 2 years and have not yet had a successful pregnancy, any suggestions to help them conceive?
See a fertility MD: See a fertility doctor for a consultation. Not just a regular ob/gyn, a real infertility doctor that specializes in infertility. You will have a medical work up to determine the cause of the problem. Start talking to other couples with fertility issues to determine the best clinics. Also make sure the embryologist is very good if you wil be undergoing ivf. Good luck. ...Read more
So me and my boyfriend are tryn to have a baby, i eat healthy and we have plenty of sex, is there really any positions to make it happen?
Not really: In an attempt to get pregnant, there are multiple factors to take into account. During intercourse, use a position that is comfortable for you and your partner. The amount of time that ejaculate is exposed to the woman's cervix may increase the odds of pregnancy. Timing this properly with your menstrual cycle is important in conceiving. ...Read more
Usually none: Both a husband and a wife should each see his and her primary care doctors for complete check-ups, including vaccine updates. A woman needs an adult medicine doctor, not just an ob-gyn, to do check-ups. The primary care doctors can suggest some testing if the couple is at high risk for inherited diseases, such as sickle cell anemia, thalassemia, cystic fibrosis, hemophilia, etc... ...Read more
