Could nasal/phlegm drainage or too much spicy food or candy cause me to have flu symptoms like diarrhea/fatigue/upset stomach/headache/etc.?

Could nasal/phlegm drainage or too much spicy food or candy cause me to have flu symptoms like diarrhea/fatigue/upset stomach/headache/etc.?

I have had strong headaches, slight sharp pain in my abdomen area that comes and goes, upset stomach, and diarrhea. What could this be?

Related or not?: There are lots of possibilities here, all of which can be addressed by a physical exam and appropriate testing. Migraines for example can affect both head and gut ("intestinal migraine"). Please however don't contribute to your stomach upset by taking excessive nsaid's aimed at alleviating head ache. Get checked to rule out more esoteric pathology. ...Read more

My boyfriend and i both have upset stomach, headache , white tongue, diarrhea what is it?

Diarrhea: Sounds like your sharing a infectious diarrhea either viral or from something you ate. Keep your hydration up and try a brat diet (banana, rice, apple sauce, tea, toast) to bind you up. I try to dissuade patients from taking antidiarrheals such as immodium because they can sometimes make the illness last longer. ...Read more

I have been extremely dizzy for the past week, made worse when moving at all, and rest does not help. Diarrhea, Upset stomach, nausea, headaches?

Dehydration or ear?: If the dizziness is more like a lightheaded sensation, then you may be dehydrated.due to diarrhea and nausea. Fluids will help, esp. those with some electrolytes, such as Gatorade. If you have a spinning or moving sensation, then this may be due to inner ear inflammation, usually viral, and motion sickness meds like Dramamine may help. See your doc if not improved in a few days. ...Read more

Been more tired lately, upset stomach, diarrhea once, gas, slight headache, fatigue, overall unwell feeling. Is this the flu? Will it make me vomit?

This could be "stomach flu" a GI virus that's quite different from influenza, or a parasite, h. Pylori, other bacterial infection or food poisoning. No way to know if it will make you vomit. If not better soon see a doctor. ...Read more
