Went ER for chest pains on left side did Ekg and ECG for three hours and chest xray and blood test everything perfect what could this be?
I was in a car accident early Sat a.m. went to ER chest X-ray was clear. Airbags deployed. My upper rt leg muscle is now throbbing. Is this a clot?
Most likely you had: A contusion (blunt trauma related injury) to your R leg, perhaps causing a small hematoma (blood bruise) in your deep muscle. These typically cause the most pain and swelling. However a venous clot certainly cannot be completely excluded especially if you have risk factors for blood clots (e.g. smoking, recent surgery or long distance travel, cancer, etc.). If it continues to hurt a lot, see MD ...Read more

I went to ER with chest pain and they tested all my hearth enzymes my d dimer was slightly elevated like 1.5. Or something the did a CT and it usuals?
Please clarify,,: It would be informative to know what your heart enzymes showed, as that can help pinpoint the cause of your chest pain. Your d-diner test would be used to rule out pulmonary embolism or some other clotting related disorder. It is high and that likely means that there is evidence that a thrombus is there or had occurred. It would be wise to check with your doctor and find out your results. ...Read more
Went to ER with chest pain&vomiting. CBC was done (said it was abnormal but didn't expand), but no ekg. Sent home still in pain. Possible heartattack?
A couple days ago I went to the ER (chest tightness) and everything came back normal, EKG etc. Today I went back and I have inverted t waves. Blood ok?
EKG changes: Hmm. If your 2 EKGs are different there could be multiple explanations. A different physical position Sitting/reclining/laying flat will all change an EKG. Lead position is also important. On the other hand, an EKG is often insensitive to cardiac damage (misses maybe 15-20% of small MIs). I think you should see a cardiologist to be sure. If you get any more chest symptoms go to ER now. ...Read more
Went to ER with chest pain, tests done (ekg, chest xray, blood) all normal, said I have costochonditris, I still feel pain and just ill and weak?
Went to ER had chest pain EKG was ischemic from one 2 years ago eco was fine no heart attack no damage need to see a cardio I am freaked out m 41?
Ischemia: Cardiac ischemia usually suggests coronary artery blockages. An echocardiogram does not detect coronary artery problems but can detect heart muscle damage, weakness or enlargement. An echocardiogram can be perfectly normal even when there is significant coronary artery disease. I recommend that you consult a cardiologist for further diagnosis, stress testing and advice. ...Read more

32yo girl, no history of cad, total cholest is 242. Hdl is 65. Went to ER w/chest pains. Ekg, blood tests, d-dimer were all ok. Is that conclusive?
You probably did not have a heart attack, however given your cholesterol level, you are at higher risk, though your high HDL level provides some protection.

Went to ER today for chest pains after running, was a panic attack. Some liver counts where high though. AST=75 and ALT=82. Should I be worried?
You in condition?: If your doctor has cleared you for that type of physical exertion then, "NO" your LFT's being a bit elevated is of no consequence. Those numbers are always changing like blood pressure. They go up and down depending on a lot of things....I wouldn't worry about it. Many possibilities: Thepossibilities the differential diagnosis of elevated CPK is relatively narrow: muscle injury of any kind or one of the macro-ck syndromes. First I would recommend a muscle aldolase test, if abnormal something is causing ongoing muscle injury -drugs, autoimmune myositis, etc if normal, than I would do a CPK electrophoresis to determine if macro ck is present. ...Read more
