Wellbutrin 150 Mg Xl Vs Sr
Buproprion: Bupropion sr and wellbutrin (bupropion) xl are two different products with the same active antidepressant drug (buproprion) but they differ in the delivery rate in our system: the sr (slow release) and the xl (extra long). In my clinical experience, they are very similar, and the difference in side effect is the sleeplessness that could result from taking the xl formulation. ...Read more
Depends.: That would depend on what the wellbutrin (bupropion) sr is prescribed to treat. Wellbutrin (bupropion) sustained release would generally be used to treat depression, however it is also used for smoking cessation (zyban) and off label for adhd and substance use disorders. We also add it to other antidepressants to try and reverse sexual dysfunction. 100 mgs daily would be the lowest dose of that form of the medication. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
That's what it's for: Wellbutrin or bupropion has been around for several decades, with many hundreds of thousands of people being helped with depression. It's success rate is about the same as other antidepressants (SSRIs and SNRIs) but it is in a different class, and lacks a lot of the same side effects. It is more energizing than sedating, and doesn't reduce sexual desire/performance as the others may. Works in 60% ...Read more
Libido: Libido is a complex psychological process. I would say that perhaps Wellbutrin (bupropion) can help but only in a round about way. Prescribed 60 mg of generic adderall ir and generic Wellbutrin (bupropion) xl 150 mg, I feel like the Wellbutrin (bupropion) is decreasing the effectiveness of the adderall?
Wellbutrin (bupropion) & adderal: The 2 meds could interact, as Wellbutrin (bupropion) does have some ability to help with concentration, and it wouldn't necessarily be an additive effect with addeerall.
