Tachycardia : The symptoms you relate suggest a rapid heart beat- there are many different rhythms and causes and you must get checked out by a cardiologist with EKgs and 24 hr holsters and get a thyroid function test to determine cause especially if it repeats. I'm 28 yrs old and for years get a fluttering in upper abdomen after eating. Perfect bloodwork and EKG results last month. What could this be?

Unclear: This may be some type of spasm or GI upset. Not any evidence to suggest cardiac disease. This fluttering is not mentioned how frequent but may represent spams of the bowel after eating. Many things : Your symptoms are suspicious for gastritis. It is not uncommon to have a "normal" egd even with gastritis or peptic ulcer disease. In case you have not, a trial of a daily PPI for about 30 days should be done. If the pain resolves, that is your answer.
