Weird Feeling In Diaphragm
Hi. Lately I have a weird feeling underneath my chest. Almost feels like my diaphragm twitched. It feels like a hiccup but only in my chest. It didn't happen when I was on antidepressants. What is it?
I have pain in the upper part iof my stomach in the diaphragm area for a week. Like someone punched me. It is hard to eat without feeling too full.
ER/urgent care: I would suggest immediate evaluation of upper abdominal pain-STAT! Never ignore these symtoms. Go directly to the ER or your local UC. ...Read more

After stressful events for about 1-2 weeks I've noticed a twitch feeling in my diaphragm (usually in center or slightly to the right). Nerves or PVC?
What you are feeling may be a PVC or for that matter a PAC but could also be several other things. If it is persistent and bothersome you might consider a 24 hour Holter monitor to document your heart rhythm during symptoms to see if a PVC is present.
Diaphragm twitches are basically hiccoughs, and what you describe sounds different than that to me. ...Read more

Feeling of pressure/tenderness under right rib cage closer to diaphragm. Notice it more when sitting down, like something is pushing against the ribs?
Had an lap appendectomy 16 days ago, now I feel like my diaphragm become inelastic, no fever, no pain, feeling limp and dizzy sometimes. What is it?
Labored breathing when lying down, back or side. Feeling of diaphragm won't expand and the exhale is drawn out. Have had echo, cct anio, pulmonary test?
You may need: A sleep study to see if you have low oxygen or apnea when you lie down or sleep next. If that is normal, consider vagal nerve paralysis which would require some functional neurologist help or lose some weight (bigger people have a hard time with respiration in a dependent position) and see if it helps. Myasthenia gravis can also do this but very rarely is it position dependent. Hope this helps. ...Read more

Strange sensation in left abdomen. Loud noise and feeling when as if water is trapped? Happens more often when hungry. Everyone thinks I'm weird!
Stomach or colon:
Your stomach is in the upper left part of the abdomen. So is the colon. Your colon makes noise when you have a lot of gas, and that is a part of the colon that goes around a corner and may trap gas.
Your stomach makes noise both when hungry and when digesting food. Very loud noises may be an indication of excess gas. Can be from poor digestion, too many carbonated drinks, bacterial imbalance. ...Read more

What would cause a fluttering feeling in middle of abdomen? This seems to happen everyday but I don't know what it could be?
Probably nothing: There are muscle twitches that can be bothersome. The midline is an unusual location but possible. The intestines inside don't contract fast enough to cause twitches. It seems a superficial abdominal wall muscle sensation. It doesn't mean anything dangerous. If you see muscle twitching elsewhere in your body, it may be a sign of a more widespread neuromuscular disorder. In such case consult a doc ...Read more
