See your doctor.: There a many reasons to explain a measured plasma sodium level. Small cell lung cancer is one potential cause, but not at all among the most common causes. Look outside lung: Yes CT scans can miss SCLC, especially if the scan is not a 'high resolution' scan with sufficient overlap. However, with 2 negative scans, you should look outside the lung. Head & neck cancers and esthesioneuroblastoma (tumor of nerves that sense smell) can cause this symptom pattern. Though rarer, SCLC can occur outside the lung, as well. Abnormal hormones: It is unusual to see hi prolactin and high cortisol simultaneously since one does not affect other and they come from different ce lines abnormal hormones signify abnormal function and maybe not accompanied by a structural abnormality which is the basis for cat scan check with doctors if levels are significantly abnormal a nd food to resoloution. ...Read more

Rule out diabetes: And not diabetic? Doubt cancer. And why would you have adrenal failure out of the blue? Not a chronic steroid user, are you? Or had recent infection? Sounds like you need to see an endocrine if your PCP can‘t figure it out. Could be an autoimmune thing, too. ...Read more

Possibly: Were these saliva or blood tests? What are your thyroid tests? It is really difficult to tell without more information. What is your diet and your exercise like? Eat less: Than you burn off. 3500 calories to the pound. Eat a healthy, well-balanced diet that you can eat the rest of your life, and exercise daily. Eat three meals a day and don't snack. Stay away from fast and junk food as well as avoiding internet scams and supplements that won't help you.
