Not a good eating: Habit. It helps to eat a balanced diet in small amounts during the day. Eating one big meal at night is more likely to lead to the excess calories being stored as fat. Hello. : Hello. Your body continues to burn calories while you sleep. The more you weigh, the more calories you burn. You don't burn as many calories sleeping as you do when you are up and about. I think what the one person may have been suggesting is that if you eat a full meal right before you go to sleep, you are not burning calories as rapidly and the food gets converted to sugar. ...Read more
