What does it mean if you have a period for a day? Especially if you have secondary amennorhea caused by weight gain.
It may not mean: anything more, especially in someone who has amennorhea. Your hormones apparently do not rise and fall in the normal pattern leading to no menses; this same phenomenon could cause only 1 day of withdrawal bleeding. Because it is atypical, if you are sexually active a pregnancy test should be checked. Just continue under your doctor's care for the amennorhea problem. Good wishes:) ...Read more

What if your period last month was 3 days early?I'm always 28days. No birth controI was not under any stress no exercising no weight gain or anything.
Still ok: It sounds like you have read up on menstrual irregularity and know that stress and other factors can affect it. I started my period dec. 28th and didn't finish until feb.11th. I haven't had one since but i'm having rapid weight gain.Like what can be causing this?
When should period return? LMP 5/31 skipped in June. Neg hpt 7/3. No perd or preg symp. No stress or weight gain
Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time. You may consider implanted contraceptive or an IUD.
