Having multiple symptoms, diagnosed with chronic gastritis. Having pressure in my head, hot body no high temp, weakness, feeling out of it and shaky.

Tough to Address: The range of possibilities here is so broad, some more serious than others, that any answer wouldn't be in your best interest. A call to an urgent care clinic, your md or health provider will help "narrow down" the possibilities and direct you either in to see someone, or take diagnostic measures to help sort things out. Good luck! ...Read more

Headache next day following light kickboxing sparring, few punches to head. No symptoms during training. Is it from neck, head muscles? (weak neck)

Headache next day following light kickboxing sparring, few punches to head. No symptoms during training. Is it from neck, head muscles? (weak neck)

Cautious optimism-: A few punches to the head is a loaded phrase and without more details on the characteristics of the headache, it's hard to give you straightforward answer. One approach-if the headache is getting better, then just monitor yourself; if it gets worse, see a healthcare professional sooner than later. It would be a good idea to refrain from getting punched in the head for the time being as well. ...Read more

Showed symptoms of a cold, had cough with phlegm, pressure in head. Now all I have is headache, weakness, and a mild cough slightly short of breath. Help?

Go see your doctor: Most colds are viral in nature. In other words, they won't respond to antibiotics. However, shortness of breath shouldn't be ignored. While this may be reactive airway disease (variant of asthma), you'll need to go see your doctor for diagnosis ; management (inhalers). Headache ; weakness (where?) can be a sign of not getting enough oxygen (or other condition). So don't delay. Go see your doc! ...Read more

Malaise, vertigo upon head movement, constant random muscle twitches, thigh weakness (both feel like giving out w/stair climbing). Symptoms related?

See your doctor: Vertigo implies inner ear problem, malaise is very non-specific, thigh weakness is usually a generalized weakness, and constant twitches can be due to calcium/vitamin d insufficiency. There may be a common thread, but much more information is needed to pinpoint the problem or problems. ...Read more

Migraine has lasted 2 days. Took1/2 a tramadol & 1 Advil (ibuprofen) with moderate relief. New symptoms are nausea, sharp pains/head and weakness in both hands. ER?

Migraine has lasted 2 days. Took1/2 a tramadol & 1 Advil (ibuprofen) with moderate relief. New symptoms are nausea, sharp pains/head and weakness in both hands. ER?

Migraine: Have you used the ER w/ success for this before? If not, I'd say it's not the best place to go. The possible contagion and high stress trauma cases might be worse for you and they are not specialists in migraine. Better, manage as you have and seek a headache specialist to work with. We have some here! Dr. Dariush Saghafi is one I know. I'll refer you to him - also seek in your area. ...Read more

Is this hyperthyroidism? Symptoms include: insomnia, weight loss, eczema-chin, hunger, tsh: 1.51, strong tremors, anxiety, polyuria, weak upper str.

Probably Not: If your TSH is 1.51, then you are not hyperthyroid. I would see your doctor and ask him to evaluate you in person - he will probably want to order labs to rule out diabetes, which can cause weight loss and polyuria. If you have underlying anxiety, that can cause your tremors and insomnia. Find a doctor you are comfortable with and make an appt. ...Read more
