Wbc Esterase 2 Abnormal
Blood test done. normal except wbc 11.8, neutrophils 85, lymphocytes 7, mono cutest 1, glucose 111.Rbcs are nomochromic/normocystic is this PNH/leuke?
This is fine: Perhaps a bit of stress effect on your neutrohils. Can you clarify? What makes you think that you have paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria and/or leukemia? If all the WBC's are normal -- and you'd have heard if they weren't -- an adult almost certainly doesn't have leukemia. PNH presents dramatically. I'll bet you're fine. How do you FEEL? If you have symptoms, look for some other reason. ...Read more

Normal Urine, all else normal?
More info needed: Lab results w/o further info frequently are tough to comment on; reasons labs were ordered, prior results, history/physical, medical history, etc are important. Range of possibilities is from harmless to severe, & knowing further info lets us to narrow down possibilities. This would be a good question for HealthTap Prime. 1st step, though; when multiple abnormalities w/o explanation, repeat test. ...Read more
Does an urinalysis report of: leukocyte esterase 1+, urine WBC 6-10 and squamous epithelial cells 0-5 mean an infection?
Not necessarily: Voided (vs. catheterized) urine specimens in women are potentially subject to contamination. Urine culture is the definitive method of determining the presence of infection. Another important point is that in older women in the absence of symptoms, this kind of urine abnormality alone or even a positive culture should not be treated with antibiotics (asymptomatic bacteriuria). ...Read more
Urine WBC Esterase 2+ Protein Trace Occult Blood 3+ WBC>30 RBC11-30 Epithelial Cells non renal>10 mucus pres Bacteria few.Have MGUS,Lymphs always high?
R/O UTI: If you have symptoms I would recommend empiric treatment with macrobid pending urine culture and sensitivity . Given underlying MGUS and weakened immune system. Follow up with your doctor for exam and lab testing. Also renal ultrasound/urology consult with cystoscopy may be needed. Increase fluids especially cranberry juice and coconut water ...Read more
Occult blood 3+,protein 2+,rbc 20-40, wbc packed,leukocyte esterase 3+,bacteria few,squamous epithelial cells 6-10. All else Norm.What does this mean.
Probable UTI: "All else normal"?? What's left? That's most of the urinalysis. It strongly suggests you have a urinary tract infection. It could be an STD, if at risk, but less likely. Certain non-infectious kidney diseases could cause these things. But UTI is by far the best bet. Discuss with the doctor who ordered the test; probably you need an antibiotic prescription. ...Read more

4yr old daughter with CBC levels- wbc11.6 rbc4.62 hemoglobin 12.6 mch-27.2 platelets 420 lymphocytes57.7 neutrophils33 basoph-1.0 abs lymphocytes6.68?
Normal values: I'm not sure what your question is, but all of these values are completely normal for a 4 y/o. White blood cell count (WBC) is normal as is the differential count which indicates different types of white blood cells present. Not anemic and red blood cells normal amount of hemoglobin (mch). Platelets in normal range so right number to clot blood and not too high which can indicate inflammation. ...Read more

What does WBC Esterase 3+, Occult Blood-Trace, Appearance-Cloudy, Epithelial Cells (non-renal) >10, WBC 11-30, on a routine urinalysis mean?

No/need stool sample: This is a near perfect blood smear result. You'd need a stool sample to diagnose teniasis and possible biopsy of the infected area. It's really important to get a visit and thorough exam from your doctor with practically definitive proof if this before starting a med like albendazole. Good luck. ...Read more

High WBC due to Infe: The commonest reason for high WBC and Granulocyte counts is Infection. if you have UTI, that is the likely cause but the WBC count will come down soon after the infection has been controlled. If you want to be certain, then recheck your CBC/WBC and make sure that the counts have come down. You need to have your kidney stone removed, otherwise you are likely to get another UTI which can damage yr ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Male 38: are anti-retro viral drugs helpful for low wbc? My WBC is bw 2.8-3.4. Basophile 1; monocytes 6; eosinophil 3; lymphocyte 44; neutrophil 2
Wbc: A white count of four on the WBC is actually a normal level. I wouldn't worry about it unless there is a significant elevation and your white count such as 20,000. A hematologist consultation would be pointless for this. A common viral infection can cause elevated lymphocytes greater than neutrophils. I would suggest checking a CBC with differential in a months time. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Polycythemia?: Are you a smoker? Your labs look like a patient with polycythemia. High hemoglobin, low mcv. The neutrophils and lymphocytes are abnormal. Missing information. What is the white blood cell count? Platelets? Smokers can have a polyclonal lymphocytosis. But need to see the whole cbc. ...Read more
Significance? Urine- wbc>100/cmm; red blood cells:+++; no growth. Fbc (suggestive of infection)- neutrophil:7.3 10*9/l; mean platelet volume: 12.3fl
Lab data: These results are meaningless without a clinical history and exam results. Although you have micropyuria and hematuria cannot be sure of the significance without knowing the problems you are investigating and the manner in which the urine was collected. It would be helpful if you provided the remainder of the cbc, but not without expounding on reasons it was done. ...Read more
