My right ear is been having issues... its always fuzzy and it pops a lot and hurts... I cant hear much from my right ear... its not wax buildup.

Seen an ENT: If you have not seen an Ear Nose and Throat Doctor, then you should see one. You likely have chronic fluid. You say that it is not wax, implying that you have been examined for wax. However, they may not be able to discern serous fluid, or drum retraction and offer maneuvers, to try to correct it. You may try popping your ears -pinch your nose and blow into your cheeks with your mouth closed. ...Read more

Sinuses always feel blocked for years; can breath through nose; ears pop & feel blocked though there's no buildup of wax or hearing restriction. Help?

Sinus issues: Your symptoms could be a lot of things ranging from a deviated nasal septum to nasal polyps to chronic sinusitis. Even poorly controlled allergies could cause this. Nasal and sinus symptoms often cause problems with the eustachian tube, which will give the ears a plugged up feeling because it doesn't ventilate the middle ear. The eustachian tube connects the middle ear with the back of the nose. ...Read more

As: As long as you have no history of eardrum perforation, the simplest thing to do is buy a baby bulb syringe, fill it with luke warm water, and self-irrigate the ear in a dependent position. This usually works after the wax has been softened by a cerumenolytic medication (debrox). If this doesn't work have your pcp or ENT physician take a look. ...Read more

If you have fluid in your middle ear, it might cause some of those symptoms. You might have a middle ear infection. You can try oral decongestants or a nasal spray. ...Read more

I haven't had ear wax for the past 3 yrs. Can this lead to hearing loss?

Please clarify: Do you mean literally that you haven't noticed ear wax in the past 3 years or that you haven't had ear wax cleaned out in three years? An excessive amount of ear wax, especially if it's pushed up against the ear drum, can cause hearing loss. One the wax is removed, hearing returns to baseline. In any case, don't stick anything into your ear canal--that can just make matters worse. Ouch! ...Read more

I currently have a cold, and my left ear feels full. I can't hear very well out of it. Would cleaning out the wax help relieve the fullness?

No: The fullness you are feeling is likely pressure behind your ear drum. It is the Eustachian tube that often fills with fluid and is swollen. If you try Valsava maneuvers to try to open up the Eustachian tube it may help. Blowing into a blocked straw or puffing out your checks, holding your breath and swallowing might help. All the best and I hope you feel better. ...Read more

My ears hurt and can't hear properly its not wax. I also don't have feeling of my teeth or proper body sensations as feeling myself, body feels weak?

SEE A DOCTOR!!: Your combination of symptoms is a bit alarming. Hearing deficit, numb teeth, and abnormal body sensations all suggest some form of neurological issue, most likely in the central nervous system (brain) as both hearing and teeth nerves originate in the cranium (skull/head/brain). You should see a physician asap and be evaluated. Good luck! ...Read more
