I am 38 weeks pregnant today and I have been having diarrhea for 3 straight days now. I am 3 in a half CM dilated is this okay?

Give it 3-5 days: It takes 3 to 5 days for the lining of the GI tract to regenerate itself. If the diarrhea persists beyond that, you may need to give a stool sample. In the meantime, it is very important to keep well hydrated. You are losing a lot of fluid with the diarrhea. Obviously try to keep your perineum as clean as possible. If you do so, should not be an issue with the pregnancy. ...Read more

38 weeks pregnant with a 100 degree fever and lots of diarrhea. I'm also 2cm dilated and 50% thinned out. Should I be worried?

See doctor: It is probably a GI bug, but you need to be sure. At 38 weeks, a fever can be a sign of something serious that could effect the baby. Additionally, diarrhea can cause dehydration that can result in preterm labor and/or other problems. At this stage of pregnancy, it always better to be checked. Better safe than sorry. Good luck! Hope you fell better. ...Read more
