Give it 3-5 days: It takes 3 to 5 days for the lining of the GI tract to regenerate itself. If the diarrhea persists beyond that, you may need to give a stool sample. In the meantime, it is very important to keep well hydrated. You are losing a lot of fluid with the diarrhea. Obviously try to keep your perineum as clean as possible. See doctor: It is probably a GI bug, but you need to be sure. At 38 weeks, a fever can be a sign of something serious that could effect the baby.
